I’m writing this review on Thanksgiving because I’m thankful to Bill and Walley. These two men came into our home as contractors and left as trusted friends.  Their work is impeccable! The work is tight!  Neat, clean, organized, solid. Bill always explained the whys behind the proposed work and were kind and respectful when I had my own ideas that required us all to flesh them out together. Thanks guys!! Having people who truly care about our home being electrically sound is priceless.  I’m grateful to have such an ethical team to rely on.  Thanks Bill and team for setting the bar so high!! Bill was outstanding. His care for his work, his desire to do things "the right way", his ability to see some very difficult projects through and most importantly, his ability to explain what he's done or what he can do to those of us who aren't electricians is absolutely incredible. In an era where so many contractors aren't interested in the client, Bill and his staff are the exact opposite. We are so grateful for him and his work. Even after multiple trips to our home he was patient and understanding and got the job done!

I had a garage addition recently built onto my house and wanted a subpanel installed. I called around for some quotes, but after speaking with Bill on the phone and in person, and after seeing photos of some of his work, I knew it would be a no-brainer to hire Direct Connection to do the job. Bill always answered all of my questions (a lot of them!) with lots of detail, was very professional, and stayed in constant contact with me during materials selection, ordering, delivery/installation, and walkthrough of the finished job. He and his colleague completed the job quickly, efficiently, and cleanly (and by cleanly I mean that the cabling run, panel work, fixturing, etc. was very appealing and tidy, which completely satisfied my OCD tendencies. Not to mention they left the place spotless despite all the drilling and cutting of wall materials.). I asked Bill to do some additional electrical work since he was going to be here for the subpanel install, and he did the additional work with no hesitation and for a very fair price. Bill and his colleague are very passionate about what they do… they went above and beyond with the work; very happy customer here. Highly recommended. I had an emergency power outage and this company came out almost immediately. They were able to fix the damaged wiring so that my electric company would be able to come restore my power . This was a surprisingly great experience. I had an emergency and he was able to show up the same day. He arrived on time and not only addressed the emergency situation, he ended up taking care of issues I wasn’t even aware of. Direct Connection helped me out with my electrical problems on 11/4. I was having lighting issues and my equipment wasn't running properly. They were able to quickly diagnose and fix my problems same day! They also resolved some major wiring issues that my building had.
I regretfully didn't call them first thing and was "ghosted" by two other companies in my area before. It was super frustrating. I was a little downtrodden by being treated so poorly, but this company made it so much better!

Direct connection was so busy, but the owner, Bill was able to make an emergency visit to the house and rectify the electrical issue. Their were customers on a waitlist, but he got my client in immediately. I dealt with many contractors, etc. and all they usually do is want your money and then they disappear. The owner of Direct Connection & his helper work in a very professional manner!  I have been working with this company for 10 years and will tell you they do excellent work! Bill's a standup guy. He's prompt, personable, very knowledgeable and above all honest. I first contacted Bill to get a quote for a circuit breaker. I needed an estimate to negotiate the price of a home I was purchasing. He was more than willing to do so over the phone. That information helped me seal the deal. After moving in I had him come out to restore power to my shed, install an outdoor outlet and discuss getting a generator. Needless to say I'm going to have the generator installed. Bill and company have been great to work and deal with from start to finish. We upgraded our electric service from 100 amp to 200 amp service. I had posted a question about good electricians that won't charge an arm and a leg to get the work done, as we don't have tons of money on a social media site. I got numerous references and referrals. I called a few of them and left message.  Bill was one of the 1st to call back and talk to me about the project. We had a few quotes given to us and we decided to go with Bill and team, because of him being incredibly friendly,  professional,  and personable. When he called back and gave me the estimate is was just a few dollars higher than the other guys, but he was nice enough to price match another quote.  Job was done properly, professionally and quickly. We definitely will be using him again in the future  and will be referring him to others. Bill takes pride in quality work. I found him based on a recommendation from our inspector who was a certified plumber and electrician himself. He upgraded our service and installed a new panel in our house along with a chandelier, new switch and outlet. It was clear Bill and his associate were knowledgeable and the work looks and functions excellent. They also noticed the panel was missing a proper ground and remedied it. When our garage sensors weren't lining up he rezipptied them even though it was unrelated to their work. They always cleaned up after themselves and neatly piled up waste. The way he does things is by doing an initial quote which is very thorough including anything you need and aspire to get done. Then gave us an itemized list we could simply pick and choose from (over multiple visits in our case).
